Translation of Japanese text from the official webpages GRACIOUSLY provided by a Japanese & fellow Conan fan friend
but accuracy to English not entirely guaranteed.

From the official webpage, story/keyword page (approximate translation):

Keywords this time are:
1. Temari Uta : song for a traditional Japanese handball.
(In old days, Japanese girls used to play with a handball
and sing a special song.)
2. Yoshitsune and Benkei : popular Japanese samurai
in the past.
(Yoshitsune was from Genji Family. Benkei was
Yoshitsune's retainer.)
3. Okina no Kamen (Okina's Mask) : Dunno anymore
about that one.
4. Crystal jewel (suishou no tama)

Lots of Japanese history/cultural content in this one!
Heiji, Kazuha, Ran & Conan the main cast.

Last part from the intro page:

" ... and at last, Conan's body is going to be......" Something that didn't happen or hasn't happened
yet in manga or TV anime series will occur in this movie. If go watch the trailer, then it would seem
Shinichi comes back!

MORE story/plot information from the YTV (Yomiuri TV) movie page:

At the National temple in Tokyo, three guys are killed with a sword and a bow&arrow by a person who
is wearing a "Mask of Okina" (Keyword 3, above). Around the same time, a murder occurs in Kyoto as well
as in Osaka. The metro police department issues a statement that the 5 people killed were the band of thieves who
stole many popular/traditional Japanese works of art in the past. Names of the members are taken from the saddest
known Japanese chronice (record), "Yoshitsune Ki". Names like Yoshitsune and Benkei.

Kogoro, Ran, Conan and Sonoko are visiting Kyoto since Mori got a request from the head priest of a Buddist temple
to solve a coded message. The priest tells them that the ocded message will lead to the whereabouts of a statue,
designated a national treasure, stolen 8 years ago.

Conan suspects that it was stolen by that band of thieves and begins to visit historic spots that are related to
Yoshitsune and Benkei. When Conan gets to the most popular historic spot of Yoshitsune, he gets attacked
by someone with a wooden sword. . . Heiji!

Heiji is also investigating the murder of the thieves. Of course, Kazuha is along with Heiji, but she's a little more
worried about something, someone, else: Heiji's first love that lives in Kyoto (or so he THINKS ^^; ).

Conan teams up with Heiji to solve the murder cases and recover the statue.

This webpage also includes a bit, a tease @_@, about Shinichi's reappearance: "At last, Conan's body becomes...."
Hai, Shinichi really does come back... how, how long and did he 'fess up to Ran, I don't know (nuts! >.<)

Before the movie came out Apr 19, Yomiuri aired a promotional show for it (not sure what date aired)
Runs ~51minutes with commercials. 2 Yomiuri & 1 Nihon TV female staff are sent around Kyoto
to try and find the actual keywords used in the movie with hints from Conan (anime pic overlayed on screen of
Conan and hear Minami doing his voice). So as they search and do locate the spots, we get tour of Kyoto
along with comparisons to scenes in the film. As well, there are very nice clips of the movie... much more so
than get from any of the trailers or commercials!! Oh, the narrator... I swear it's Tsujitani Kouji (Miroku/Tylor...)
