Tantei-tachi no Chinkonka Summary:

Ok, my friend (speaks/writes English fairly well) in Japan who records Conan for me but isn't much of a Conan fan himself, won 2
tickets to the 10th movie last month. He's not in a major urban area but he said he'd go if it came to a nearby theatre ... well he surprised
me Tuesday (early May this happened) with an e-mail saying he had seen it in Yokohama and gave me this info about it:

Conan, Ran, Kogoro, Ai, Ayumi, Mitsuhiko, and Genta went to Yokohama for Kogoro's business. During his work, the children
were to enjoy in the amusement park. But the client told Conan besides Kogoro to stay. So the other children and Ran went ahead
to the amusement park. The client thought Conan was Shinichi. All of them wore an ID like a watch on the wrist. Once they enter
the amusement park, the ID will explode when they get out of the park. Only Conan, Kogoro, Ai knew that. A part of the course
of the roller coaster was outside of the amusement park, so Ai had to keep them from it. Ran and the kids were confined as hostages
in the amusement park. Conan and Kogoro began investigation with a clue by the mystery client to save them. They have only 12 hours...


Which wasn't much more than already knew ... and he asked me what I wanted to know. Baka! EVERYTHING of course!!

So his answer back was a Yahoo search that brings up blogs, etc of people who have written about the movie ... Japanese only of course
and ergo of LITTLE use to me ~_~ So I said if he didn't want to do a sumamry of the whole thing, at least tell me how/when Heiji, Hakuba
and Kid show up and what they do and who the villain was ... So I finally got a reply!!! The English isn't perfect ok?

Here we go:

Conan and Kogoro started investigation in the town. The first and only clue was "KANA 3-8". While Kogoro was driving the car,
Conan noticed it was a street address. They went to the place that address indicated. It was a building where nobody lived except a homeless
man. He told them that he had seen a suspicious car. The police appeared then and they arrested Kogoro as a dubious character.
Conan continued investigation by himself. The client called him and gave the second clue. It showed where a cash transport truck had been robbed. Heiji appeared, and Conan began to act in cooperation with him. The robbers thought they were seen by Kaitou Kid.

Heiji got a key "YOU". It led them to Yokohama Ocean University. Then Hakuba appeared and he gave them the info he got. They talked
with members of a club. They saw photos of the ex-members at the club room. Three of the ex-members were actually the robbers. One of them
was shot and was killed. Another (woman) was thought to have suicided. And the other was the client.

Kogoro was freed from the police and investigated asking Eri for help. He went to the client's to report. But if he gave a wrong answer,
he and the children would be killed. Conan and Heiji came and stopped him. They hunted down the client. He asked who had killed his friend.
They answered his girlfriend had, who was one of the robbers. But the client wouldn't believe. Then the woman appeared. She actually
was alive. She tried to kill them. Conan beat her. But the computer broke in the battle and it didn't accept the keyword to cancel the time bomb.
Conan tried and tried in vain. At last he noticed, restarted it and entered the keyword. The children were saved!

The client thought Conan was Shinichi because the sensor read his fingerprints. After everything, they enjoyed the roller coaster.
But Genta forgot to take off the ID. Though the timing device was canceled, if it went outside of the amusement park, it would explode.
Heiji tried to remove it, fumbled. So did Conan. When it was about to explode, Kid appeared and took it. They were barely saved again.

Neither Kid nor Hakuba appeared a lot.


Yatta, I can wait 4 more months now for the rental to come out without going nuts. ^^;;
