As popular as this series is (manga and anime) (ok, not too well known in North America even with Case Closed ~_~), there hasn't been
a whole lot of merchandise. There was some done in 1996 (first year of the anime). There's been comic fair (can only get at
the special events) items made each year , and there is always merchandise created for each movie (since 1997).

There were more items out in 2001 since it was the 5th anniversary for the anime, but overall it's been nothing in comparison to other
big hit anime (Sailor Moon, Card Captor Sakura, Prince of Tennis...). 2006 being 10th anniversary of the anime there was a BIT more in new goods,
but, at this point, still had been no new card sets since the movie collection cards in 2001 ~_~

2016 was the 20th anniversary and there was a surprising amount of goods out for Conan. Regular trading cards though, nothing came out.
Closest was a the third bromide plus mini clearfile set.

2019 into 2020 and into 2021 as well as 2022, the amount of Conan goods out has been utterly amazing. Success of the last few films partly why I guess...
Plus 2021 was the 25th anniversary for the anime! The 25th movie came out April, 2022. The amount of goods hasn't slowed down in 2023 or 2024 either oO.

Trading Cards

Except for the card game done in 1999, "Mischievous Elves", all the card sets (that I'm aware of) were all done in 1996.
Well, that was true! Amada did 2 card sets focussing on the first 5 movies: Collection 1 came out in Jan and Collection 2 in April, 2002.

And now, much, much later, with the 12th movie release in April, 2008 in Japan, a new trading card set based only on the movies came out
but it's a gum card set.

Not too many regular/typical trading cards, but more specialized type sets or sticker (seal) sets, and more bromides sets, and such have been coming out 2018-2024.
I've not been trying to collect these (although can be very tempting to do so!). . .

Bromide Sets

Bromide cards are like post card size trading cards. There can be a few different sizes. Other than that the cards are like trading cards.
I did not pursure getting these much of the bromide sets for Conan as a lot of the artwork exists elsewhere (on other merchandise).
Anime style artwork is used. Scenes from the anime directly itself are not in these sets though.

Media Factory (Kadokawa) has released these bromide sets.
